In 2014, Woodside was lucky enough to access the first ever Buffalo herd in South Australia. Buffalo Milk's higher fat content lends to creamier more decadent cheeses than their Cow and Goat counterparts.

This acquisition marked the beginning of our Buffalo Milk range and our new label 'Kris Lloyd Artisan'.

Opting for a range of Buffalo Curds, Buffalo Persian Feta, Buffalo Chevre’s and Soft and Semi Hard Buffalo milk cheeses, the Kris Lloyd Artisan Buffalo Milk range would showcase a new kind of cheese that was not expected of Buffalo Milk.

They have now become some of Kris Lloyd Artisan's signature cheeses.

Woodside Cheese Wrights established in 1994 produces an original range of Australian cheeses using the highest quality South Australian Cow, Goat & Buffalo milk from small neighbouring herds. All the cheeses are made by hand by our passionate team of cheesemakers to our tradition methods which we have developed over many years.  We have distribution channels locally, nationally and internationally.
